Terms and Conditions

Welcome to EConnect Ltd ("EConnect," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EConnect Web and Mobile Applications, including services offered under the Creative Talent Masters (CTM) program, the School Management System, and the Creative Entrepreneurship Management modules (collectively referred to as the "Platform").

1. Purpose of the Platform

EConnect's Platform is a multi-functional system designed to:

• Support academic management for schools, including student records, class administration and communication tools.
• Facilitate talent management and development through the Creative Talent Masters (CTM) program.
• Empower creative entrepreneurs and non-student beneficiaries under EConnect's management to develop, manage and commercialize their talents and businesses.
• Enable financial, business and performance tracking for both students and creative entrepreneurs.
• Provide long-term traceability for all registered talents and beneficiaries, to assess progress, post-training impact and continuous professional growth.

The Platform is built to promote education, creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation in a unified ecosystem.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

• Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
• Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
• Students under 18 must have parental or school authorization to use the Platform.
• Non-student creative entrepreneurs and beneficiaries under EConnect management are also eligible to use the same Platform for their creative, business and financial management activities.
• EConnect reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or breach these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful, ethical and constructive purposes. You must not:

• Use the system for illegal, misleading or harmful activities.
• Upload, share, or distribute offensive, discriminatory or unauthorized material.
• Interfere with system operations or misuse data belonging to other users, schools or organizations.
• Use the Platform for fraudulent financial or business activities.

EConnect may monitor usage to ensure compliance and maintain the safety and integrity of the system.

4. Academic, Talent, and Entrepreneurship Data

The Platform handles multiple categories of user data, including:

• Academic data: such as student records, performance, attendance and reports.
• Talent data: including creative portfolios, training progress, videos, photos and event participation.
• Business and financial data: including creative business records, earnings, expenses, transactions and financial performance tracking.

By using the Platform, users consent to the collection, secure storage and appropriate use of this information for education, creativity and entrepreneurship management. EConnect strictly adheres to data privacy standards and ensures all information is used solely for developmental, analytical and traceability purposes.

5. Traceability and Program Impact Monitoring

• EConnect maintains a traceability and follow-up system to monitor the growth and progress of all beneficiaries including talented students after graduation and non-student creative entrepreneurs.
• This long-term monitoring helps EConnect assess how the programs have impacted youth employment, creativity and innovation across Tanzania and beyond.
• Data collected during this process is treated confidentially and used only for reporting, impact assessment and continuous program improvement.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

• All software, databases, designs, graphics, trademarks and materials available on the Platform are the exclusive property of EConnect Ltd.
• Any photos, videos, creative works, or media produced through CTM programs, business trainings or events remain the property of EConnect Ltd, unless stated otherwise in a written agreement.
• EConnect may use such media for educational, promotional and developmental purposes, including on social media, websites and partner platforms.
• Users are prohibited from reproducing, selling, or distributing any Platform content without prior written consent.

7. Collaboration with Schools, Partners, and Sponsors

• EConnect partners with schools, investors, development agencies, and sponsors to promote education, creativity and entrepreneurship.
• User photos, videos, and performance data may be used to showcase achievements, attract investment or promote innovation initiatives.
• All media use is handled ethically and never for exploitative or unlawful purposes.
• In cases where a talent receives direct investor or sponsor support, new media produced under that partnership will be governed by a separate agreement.

8. Financial and Business Data Management

• The Platform allows users to record, manage, and monitor their creative or entrepreneurial business activities, including revenues, expenses and performance metrics.
• EConnect does not assume liability for financial losses, inaccurate entries or business mismanagement by users.
• Data provided in this section may also be used (in anonymized form) for analytics, training and program improvement.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of their financial information.

9. Termination or Suspension

EConnect reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate access if:

• Users violate these Terms or misuse the Platform.
• Activities are found to be harmful, fraudulent, or damaging to EConnect or its partners.
• Accounts remain inactive or are associated with unlawful behavior.

Users may request account termination at any time by contacting EConnect directly.

10. Limitation of Liability

EConnect Ltd shall not be held liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages resulting from Platform use or downtime.
• Data loss due to user actions, device malfunction, or unauthorized access.
• Errors or omissions in information submitted by users or third parties.

11. Updates and Modifications

EConnect may update or modify these Terms and Platform functionalities to enhance user experience or meet new legal standards. Users will be informed of significant updates through official communication channels. Continued use of the Platform after updates implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. All disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in Tanzanian courts.
